Required Qualifications

• State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License
• ARRT(CT)(R)
• AHA BLS
• Level 1 trauma center experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience
• GE equipment experience

Job Responsibilities

• Perform quality CT exams and a full range of department procedures
• Complete QA
• Maintain department stock and compliance
• Work effectively with patients, physicians, families, students, and other healthcare personnel
• Use computers and email applications
• Handle difficult customer interactions and escalate when needed

Procedures / Clinical Scope

• Neuro, body, MSK, CTAs, IR procedures including biopsies, ablations, and drain removals
• 3D reformats, colonography, enterography, urograms
• Trauma scans
• Dual energy imaging

Work Setting Details

• Floating within the CT department to other locations under the same manager
• 8 CT scanners across campuses

Orientation

• 6-week orientation for outside candidates
• Assigned preceptor
• Mid-point check at 3 weeks

Schedule Notes

• Weekend call every 16th week
• Holidays required as needed and scheduled
