Required Qualifications

Active RN license in California
BLS
ACLS
PALS
2+ years of experience in the specialty
Experience working in a high-volume, high-acuity ER

Preferred Qualifications

TNCC
Level II trauma experience or above
Travel experience

Assignment Details

Every other weekend
Floating: no
Charge nurse role included; no patient assignment
First to float
Call may be required, up to 2 days per month
Floor orientation: 2–3 shifts
Proctored dysrhythmia test on day one
Holiday RTO will be considered but is not guaranteed

28-bed ER with 4 fast-track beds, 2 trauma bays, and hallway beds
Typical patient mix includes trauma, stroke, pediatrics, and psych
Average volume: 155 patients per day

Great hospital. Kind and friendly staff.

Cons

The cafeteria is a hit and miss. Some days they have great sea food with saffron rice! Some days microwaved food :D. But there is alwaaaaays, pizza available ;)
