Registered Nurse — Emergency Room

Contract

13 weeks
Days
36 hours per week
12-hour shifts
Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license in hand before start
BLS
ACLS
PALS
TNCC
Able to function independently with House Supervisor backup
Experienced ER nurse
Experience working in a small ER is a plus

Schedule / Work Setting

Day and evening shifts
May work alone in the department with ER physician available 24/7
House Supervisor available for backup
Floating not required

Unit Details

Emergency Room / Critical Care
7 rooms and 8 gurneys

Orientation

12 hours of non-billable orientation in the first work week
Computer charting is covered during orientation

Additional Notes

Non-Oregon licensed RNs may be eligible for a 90-day temporary license if their permanent license is not posted before assignment start
Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius
EMS is not available
