Physical Therapist - West Jordan, Utah

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Certifications & Licenses

• BLS (AHA or ARC) required
• Physical Therapist license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
• Dry Needling Certification only if performing dry needling

Experience Requirements

• Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab unit preferred
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred

Job Duties

• Provide care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders
• Therapeutic interventions including:

  • ADL retraining
  • Patient education in home safety
  • Adaptive equipment and compensation techniques
  • Coordination, strengthening, and therapeutic exercise programs
  • Manual therapy
  • Therapeutic activities
  • Aquatic therapy
  • Neuromuscular re-education
• Participate in documentation, program development, teaching, and clinical skills enhancement

Scheduling & Work Hours

• Standard shifts with flexibility required before/after standard hours
• Overtime or working more than 40 hours per week may be required
• Floating to other areas or sites as needed
• Flexible scheduling including weekends, holidays, and after hours
• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with 1 weekend per month required

Orientation

• Clinicians must be in-state for the week of orientation (even if some modules are remote)

Additional Notes

• Must submit driver's license (DL)
• Radius requirement: within 60 miles of the facility
