Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Typically 1:2, occasionally 1:3
Patient Types: Variety of ICU acuity patients including vented patients, BIS scoring, TTM, and rarely IABP
Charge Nurse: Present on each shift and takes an assignment
Support Staff: No nurse aides or patient care techs on the unit
Physician Support: eICU support available for 14 rooms

RNs are required to titrate drips
Common drips include vasopressors/inotropes, sedatives, heparin, octreotide, and insulin

Must have a valid driver's license at time of submission (used to verify candidate is within 50 miles)
Radius Rule: Candidates must live within 50 miles and may not be currently employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI and Dignity)
Fingernail Policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas; refusal to comply will result in contract termination
Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue
Return to Office (RTO) required within 7 days of contract start; no additional RTO extensions allowed
