Overview

Travel RN assignment in Springfield, Missouri

Nights, 3x12, 1900-0700
36 guaranteed hours per week
13-week assignment
Every other weekend required
No call required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS
NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Ventilator competency

Preferred Qualifications

TNCC
PALS
2 years in a NICU level 3 or higher

Unit Details

Neonatal ICU 5F
46 beds
NICU patient ratio is 1:3, with ratios determined by acuity
Patients include premature infants, infants of diabetic mothers, infants with respiratory distress, post-date infants, and other neonatal patients

Float Scope

May float to NICU, PICU, or Postpartum floor based on patient volumes

Additional Notes

Night shift orientation occurs on day shift and requires availability for the entire week
Black scrubs required; Mercy Kids scrub top with black scrub pants is allowed
