RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Overview

  • Travel assignment in Round Rock, Texas
  • 13 weeks
  • 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • 36 hours per week
  • Unit based in the Main Hospital
  • Respiratory Therapy department
  • Two openings
  • Start date: April 15th
  • Every other weekend
  • No call

Unit details

  • 205 beds
  • 35 total staff
  • Day shift staffing includes one charge and five staff covering ER, ICU, and floors
  • Equipment includes Ventilators PB 980 and 840, Bipap’s V-60, and Siemens ABG instruments
  • Meditech is used
  • Permanent positions on the unit are available
  • Typical procedures include Ventilator and Bipap Management, Aerosol Therapies, CPT, and Oxygen
  • Dress code: Sage top, black pants

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
  • Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
  • Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NBRC
  • PALS

Preferred Qualifications

  • NRP
