Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT) - Therapy
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Anytime between 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM start through 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM end
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Rotating weekends at least one per month
Unit & Patient Information
- Inpatient Rehab Unit
- 44 beds
- Patient ratio: 1 OT to 4-5 patients
- Unit staffing: 10 OT/PT teams, 1 tech available
- Floating policy: May float to the acute hospital therapy department
- Patient caseload: Approximately 60% neurological diagnoses
- Mix of long-tenured and newer therapists, all motivated and committed to learning and education

- Diego, XCITE Functional Electrical Stimulation

Documentation System
- Meditech Expanse
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Stroke Rehab experience required/preferred
- Hospital-level inpatient rehab experience preferred
Certifications & Licenses
- PT License required
- BLS certification required
Dress Code
- Black scrub pants and royal blue top
