Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7 PM, every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Call Requirements: None

Unit Information

Department: Respiratory Therapy
Documentation System: Meditech
Procedures Performed:
- Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Assist with intubation
- Nebulizer treatment
- Metaneb
- Intermittent Positive Pressure Breathing (IPPB)
- Chest Physiotherapy (CPT)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Texas
National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification
Minimum 2 years of hospital experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
Experience in ICU, NICU, and Emergency Department (ED) settings
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP

Preferred Skills

Experience with Servo I ventilator
Experience with I-Stat

Dress Code and Appearance Guidelines

Black scrubs required (must be purchased)
Nails must be clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or similar enhancements
Hair must be neat and clean; pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab
Facial hair must be clean and neatly trimmed
Tattoos should be covered whenever possible
Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited (e.g., nose rings, tongue rings)

Additional Information

Floating and attendance policies will be followed as per company guidelines
