Registered Nurse - Home Health (Travel)

Location: Saco, Maine
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend rotation with a day off during the week, or a permanent schedule option (Tuesday-Saturday with Sunday and Monday off, or Sunday-Thursday with Friday and Saturday off) based on agency needs
• Call Requirements: No overnight call. Call back required 2-4 times per month between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Notification by 5:00 PM if an extra visit is needed; if no visit is scheduled by then, no call is required.
• Patient Load: Manage 20-25 patients with an expectation of 5-6 visits per day; may be reassigned as needed during the contract
• Equipment Provided: Laptop, iPhone with case and chargers, mouse, nursing supply bin, nursing bag with vital signs equipment, INR machine, and agency bag (all must be returned upon contract completion)
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
• Minimum 2 years of Home Health nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Experience with OASIS documentation
• Proven experience in a Home Health setting
