Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians. Provide care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by Radiologists or Cardiologists.

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in New Mexico
Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT certification applicable to cardiac or vascular intervention (CV, CI, or VI) or RCIS certification
ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
High school diploma or equivalent
Radiology Technologist experience

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, various body fluids, and ionizing radiation.
Clean, well-lighted, ventilated, smoke-free environment.
Subject to stressful professional relationships.
Flexible working hours due to unexpected schedule changes and emergencies.
Physical demands include lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients and equipment over 50 lbs.

Additional Information

Weekend work required.
On-call requirement: approximately 10 out of 12 days per month, including weekends.

This position is a travel assignment with a 13-week contract length. Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
