Registered Nurse (PACU) - Travel Position

Job Summary

Provide independent nursing care in a perioperative/post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) setting, managing pediatric to geriatric post-surgical patients. Deliver routine and complex care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegate tasks appropriately and manage clinical situations effectively.

Work Schedule

• 4 shifts per week
• 10 hours per shift
• Variable start times between 9:30 AM and 12:00 PM

Patient Population

• Pediatric to geriatric post-surgical patients

Required Qualifications

Education & Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association or ENPC

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience within the last year
• Critical care nursing experience
• Perioperative nursing experience

Additional Information

• Critical care experience is a must
• Temp-to-perm possibility available
