Job Summary

Seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Case Management to work at a Level II Trauma Center hospital. The role involves managing patient care coordination, discharge planning, and facilitating multidisciplinary discussions.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Work Schedule

Day shift only (8-hour shifts, 5 days a week)
Expected to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff

Unit Information

Bed Capacity: 309 total beds, 290 beds on the unit
Staffing: Need 12-13 RNs for case management
Patient Ratios:
- Case Management: 1 RN to 25 patients on floors, 1 RN to 20 patients in UC units
- Social Work: 1:30 in ICU, 1:40 on floors
Equipment: iPad, computer, cell phone
EMR Systems: Meditech (review), MIDAS (documentation), Careport (referral process)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 1 year of Case Management experience, including experience within the last year
Utilization Review experience
Hospital and/or case management experience
Acute hospital case management experience
Discharge planning experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Midas, Interqual, Meditech
Experience in acute hospital case management

Leading multidisciplinary review (MDR) discussions
Troubleshooting and applying critical thinking skills
