Surgical Tech - First Assist - OR

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel

Position Overview

Role: Surgical Technologist / First Assist
Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
Number of Openings: 3
Shift: Days, 4 shifts of 10 hours each (4x10)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: As needed
Call Requirements: Required (details to be discussed during interview)
Dress Code: Black scrubs provided by facility

Required Qualifications

Surgical First Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience
Surgical First Assistant experience within the last year
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CNOR
Ability to assist with genitourinary (GU) surgery
Ability to assist with ear, nose, and throat (ENT) surgery

Preferred Qualifications

Experience scrubbing cases preferred
Experience assisting with general surgery, gynecology (GYN), orthopedics (Ortho)
Robotic surgery experience preferred

Additional Information

Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 to April 1 (exemptions require approval)
Opportunity to support multiple staff on leave and work with several new surgeons recently added to the team

Note: Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
