MRI Technologist - Temporary Position

Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• No block scheduling or 10/12 hour shifts will be considered.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• Approximately 9 patients per shift.
• Always work with another Tech Aide or MRI Tech; no solo shifts.
• After midnight coverage is on call.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed.
• Holiday coverage requires working two of the following holiday periods:

  • Thanksgiving and the Friday/weekend after
  • Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the Friday/weekend after
  • New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the Friday/weekend after
• Extensions ending in November or before December holidays will not be considered.
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required.
• Holiday and overtime pay multipliers apply.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years current MRI experience.
• ARRT (MR) Certification required.
• Experience with GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI equipment required.
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.
• Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed.
• Must have own vehicle.
• Permanent address must be included in profile to verify distance eligibility.
• All scheduling requests and time off must be submitted with application; no changes after offer.

• Work history.
• Skills checklist relevant to the position, updated within the last year.
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years.
• Licenses and certifications uploaded with profile.

Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT (MR) Certification.
• BLS (AHA) Certification.
• Massachusetts state licensure required.
