Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Work primarily on a general medical/surgical floor caring for post-op patients requiring overnight stays.
- Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required.
- Use of EPIC electronic medical records system preferred.
Schedule & Hours
- 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Orientation schedule provided.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Iowa.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
- At least 1 prior travel contract completed (prior travel experience required).
- BLS certification required.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
- Must not have been employed by the facility’s health system in the last 12 months.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Work history/resume, skills checklist (completed within 1 year), license verification, required certifications, and one supervisory reference required at time of submission.
- Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
- First-time travelers are acceptable.
