Job Summary

The Clinical Coordinator (RN) in Behavioral Health facilitates clinical staff operations to enhance patient and information flow within the office. This role involves coordinating clinical support staff coverage during office hours and independently providing professional nursing care within accepted nursing practice guidelines. The RN also functions as an Office Nurse, triaging patient calls, managing prescription refills, and coordinating patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the Nursing Process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records; promptly report changes or concerns.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following policies and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Offer emotional support and advocate for patients’ rights to ensure compassionate care.
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing (verification via Nursys required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Associate degree or higher in Nursing (Bachelor’s degree highly preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment.
• Experience in pediatrics and clinical staff supervision is highly preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
