Days shift
13-week contract
Unit cares for Peds Hem/Onc, Med Surg, and all Pediatric specialties
May float to NICU, B3 gen floor, PICU, and ED for inpatient holds
Bed size: 14
Patient ratio: 1:2-4
EMR: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Pediatric Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Pediatric Med Surg experience within the last year
Pediatric Hematology / Oncology experience
Experience with Epic
One completed travel assignment
Driver's License
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS issued by American Heart Association
APHON

Preferred

Professional reference/reference check from charge, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the previous 24 months
