Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

Overview

Temp assignment in the Operating Room (OR) in Saginaw, Michigan.
Afternoons shift.
13-week contract.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of CST experience.
Level 2 Trauma experience.
Proficient in Ortho, Vascular, Neuro, Gen/Gyn, and Urology.
Active American Heart Association BLS.
Active NBSTSA Certification.
Work history skills checklist current to 1 year, pertinent to the Operating Room.
2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
Permanent address outside the facility’s 50-mile local-candidate restriction.

Preferred

Recent travel work experience.

Role Details

Surgical technologist role in the Operating Room.
Responsible for maintaining the sterile field, preparing sterile instruments and equipment, anticipating surgeon needs, and keeping accurate counts of medications, sharps, instruments, and sponges.
