Position Details

• Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse
• Location: Laguna Hills, California
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (07:00 - 19:30)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Level I.
• Must have experience attending high-risk deliveries.
• Floating required to Labor & Delivery (L&D); possibility of floating between two nearby facilities.
• Weekend shifts scheduled as needed to meet unit demands.
• No on-call requirements.
• Documentation system used: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California.
• Minimum 3 years of NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience, including experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Experience working with high-risk patients.
