Job Opportunity: Pediatric BMT Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other week
Hours per Week: 36 hours (3 shifts of 12 hours)

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a Hematology/Oncology (Hem/Onc) and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit.
Unit details: 24 Hem/Onc beds, 10 BMT beds, plus 17 overflow beds.
May float to General Pediatrics floor, PICU, NICU, and sister campus as needed.
Primary focus on Hem/Onc and BMT units located one floor apart.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Minimum of 1 year of Bone Marrow Transplant experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
APHON (Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
