Job Overview

Role Summary

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs.
• Positions and instructs patients before exams, adjusts equipment settings, and produces diagnostic images.
• This role is for an outpatient center and is listed as an urgent need.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in California.
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year.
• 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience.
• ARRT (R).
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Prepare equipment and exam rooms.
• Position patients for imaging exams.
• Monitor patient safety during exams.
• Document exam information and report important findings to the physician.
• Verify exams on PACS.

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• Current picture identification.
• Background check within 30 days of start.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start.
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start.
• Physical exam within 90 days of start.
• Drug test within 30 days before start.
• Negative TB screening or chest X-ray.
• Tdap within 10 years or positive titer.
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination as specified.
• 2 clinical references verified within a year of start.
• Unit-specific skills checklist.
• Signed employment application/resume with 7-year work history and gaps included.
• Required facility documents and acknowledgements before start.
• Annual vaccinations are required as a condition of employment, with medical or religious exemptions allowed where applicable.
