Job Overview
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Location: Omaha, Nebraska
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Weekly hours: 36 or 48 hours option
- Contract length: 20 weeks
Key Assignment Details
- Travelers are expected to float frequently as needed, including to a sister campus.
- Unit assignment is made after confirmation based on traveler experience.
- Holiday coverage is required: work 2 of the 3 major holidays.
- Up to 2 weeks of requested time off is permitted if submitted with the application.
- Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility.
- Pending license is accepted, but if the license is not in hand at submission, the traveler will be booked six weeks out.
- Scrubs are required and must be Steele gray with the logo printed on the back.
- Nicotine-free facility.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Nebraska
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- 2 years of Med Surg experience
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- Acute Care experience
- One completed travel assignment
- Epic experience

- ACLS
Work Environment
- Drips are required on all floors.
- Care teams may include CNAs, care techs, transport team, swoop/paramedics, and LPNs on some floors.
