Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract
Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
Work setting includes Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department (ED).
Required procedures and equipment experience:
- Nebulized medication therapy (AeroEclipse, Aerobika flutter valves)
- Chest percussion and bedside parameters (FVC/NIF) for neuro population
- V60 BiPAP, Comfort Flow Heated High Flow Nasal Cannula Systems
- Transport ventilators
- Glidescope intubation and bronchoscopy system
- Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators
- Bedside bronchoscopies and percutaneous tracheostomy
- Radiometer ABL 90 Flex analyzers
- Nebulized Epoprostenol and HeliOx services
Holiday time off requests during specified holidays will not be accommodated; exceptions may be discussed onsite after arrival.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Tennessee
- Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one travel assignment
- Current certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Experience working with Adult patients
- Valid Driver’s License
