Overview

• Role: PCU RN
• Location: Johnson City, Tennessee
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Schedule: Day shift, 4x12 hours, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Available schedules: 36/36, 36/48, and 48/48
• Call: No call
• Weekends: Rotating weekends
• Orientation: 16 hours of nonbillable orientation

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

• AHA ACLS
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Tele experience
• PALS
• NRP
• TNCC
• 3 references preferred

Additional Notes

• The hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases.
• Additional shifts above the work commitment may be flexed as needed for census or resource changes without penalty.
• General orientation begins on Sundays, with online CBLs on Sunday.
• The assignment includes expected participation in nursing student support and clinical education.
