Pediatric Stepdown RN
Role Overview
- Pediatric Stepdown RN in a mixed rehab unit, not PCU
- 3x12 rotating days/nights
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays required as scheduled
- Floating required within the specialty and to other departments as needed, including the Largo campus through 10/8/26 if needed
- Backfill opening
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- 1 year of Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Pediatric Cardiac Stepdown experience
- Experience with tracheostomy care
- Experience with mechanical ventilation
Patient Population
- Pediatrics and adolescents
Preferred
- Pediatric experience is acceptable with the required skills
Additional Notes
- Local travelers accepted at a reduced local travel rate
- On-call not required
- Scrubs: any color, any pattern
