Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (ER) - Travel/Contract

Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• 36 hours per week, night shift
• Shift hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Working every third weekend
• Evening hours (EOH)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts RN license
• Minimum 18 months of Emergency Room (ER) experience
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (AHA only)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA only)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required for ER
• Medication Exam and Telemetry Exam (if applicable) must be passed with minimum 80% on first day of orientation
• NURSYS verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Background checks including 7-year criminal background check, education verification, and state-specific clearances
• Physical exam within 12 months of start, including physician statement of fitness to work without restrictions
• Drug testing within 30 days of start date
• Required immunizations or valid declinations for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Flu seasonal vaccination (or declination during flu season)
  • COVID-19 vaccination (most recent) or declination
• TB testing and questionnaire required
• References: 2 within the last 3 years
• Employment application covering 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps over 30 days
• Skills checklist required prior to start and updated annually

Additional Information

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
• Must be able to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled
• Compliance with facility-specific documentation and background check requirements is mandatory

This position is ideal for experienced ER Registered Nurses licensed in Massachusetts who are comfortable with night shifts and have proficiency in Epic.
