Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Driver's License or State issued ID.
- Must have appropriate state license for X-Ray Tech.
- Required certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC required and current.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required for certain units; check unit description.
- Tech Certification Verification (National) - Must be verified within 30 days of start date. ARRT certification relevant for Radiologic Technologists.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by a Physician, PA, NP, or APRN confirming good health and ability to perform job duties.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start.
- Required immunizations/vaccinations or proof of immunity:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (or declination with annual renewal)
- Varicella
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (Tdap mandatory for certain units)
- Flu vaccine required annually or approved exemption.
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start (including Marijuana).
- Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, OFAC sanctions list, education verification, and transcript/diploma verification.
- Competency exams and skills checklists must be current and passed as required.
- Color Blind Testing within 60 days prior to start (Ishihara test preferred).
- Various core competency exams (Parts I, II, III) and unit-specific competency exams required annually.
- HIPAA and OSHA acknowledgment must be on file and updated annually.
- Facility-specific orientation and safety training required.
- Fit testing for N95 masks completed onsite prior to or on first day.
