Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - Travel/Contract

Location: Milford, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Experience:
  Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Radiology / Cardiology (highest required).

• Certifications:

  • ARDMS certification highly preferred; CCI certification will also be considered.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only.
  • Other certifications may be required depending on specialty area (check specific requirements).

• Technical Skills:

  • Previous experience with Philips Epiq ultrasound system.

• Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, either 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM or four 10-hour shifts from 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM.
  • Monday and Friday are required workdays.
  • Call schedule includes call from 8 AM to 8 PM every third weekend and holidays.

• Prior Travel Experience:

  • No explicit requirement for prior travel experience mentioned.

Compliance & Documentation

• Valid Driver’s License or State ID required.
• Massachusetts Statewide (iCORI) Release required and must be updated annually.
• Background Check: 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, including SSN trace, county search, national criminal search, and education verification. Annual updates required for direct candidates.
• Education Verification: Third-party verification of highest completed education required. Transcripts acceptable if education verification is unperformable; diplomas not accepted.
• State License Verification required within 30 days of start.
• NURSYS Verification required within 30 days prior to start date.
• Drug Testing required within 30 days of start date (specific drug panels listed).
• Physical Exam required within 12 months of start, including physician statement of fitness to work without restrictions.
• Immunizations and Declinations:

  • COVID-19 vaccination or facility-specific declination required.
  • Flu vaccine or declination required during flu season.
  • MMR, Hepatitis B, TDAP, Varicella vaccinations or declinations required with some restrictions for Pediatrics, Maternity, NICU.
• TB Testing: Two PPDs or equivalent testing required; positive TB requires chest X-ray and TB questionnaire.
• Competency Exams: Medication and other competency exams required as applicable.
• References: Two references within three years of start.
• Employment Application: Must include 7 years of employment history and explanations for gaps over 30 days.
• Skills Checklist: Required prior to start and updated annually.

Additional Notes

• Call schedule requires availability every third weekend and holidays.
• Must be able to work specified shifts with Monday and Friday as mandatory days.
• Compliance with all facility-specific health and background requirements is mandatory.
