Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech

Location: Wyoming, Michigan
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Shift: 4 shifts per week, 9 hours each (07:00 - 16:30)
• On-Call: Yes

  • One call night per week (16:30 - 07:00)
  • Every third weekend call (Friday 16:30 - Monday 07:00)
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend (Friday 16:30 - Monday 07:00)
• Guaranteed Hours:

  • 36 hours for 3 shifts of 12 hours
  • 48 hours for 4 shifts of 12 hours
  • 40 hours for shifts under 12 hours (8 or 10-hour shifts)

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system

Job Scope & Equipment

• General Interventional Radiology and Neuro Intervention
• Work includes comprehensive stroke center procedures
• Equipment used: Siemens and Philips bi-plane imaging systems

Facility Type

• Acute Care Hospital
• Teaching hospital with Adult Level II Trauma designation

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background checks including 7-year history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Education verification (transcript or diploma accepted as placeholder if pending)
• Physical exam within last 12 months (for records only)
• Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Immunizations and health requirements:

  • TDAP within 10 years (declinations accepted except OB/Social Services)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: Positive titer or vaccinations required; declinations accepted with some exceptions
  • Hepatitis B: Positive titer or series required; declinations accepted
  • Flu vaccination or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (declinations not accepted)
• Fit mask testing will be completed onsite during orientation

Additional Requirements

• Minimum of 2 professional references required
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement required
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exams as applicable
