Job Opportunity: Case Manager (Registered Nurse)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour day shifts
• Start Date: ASAP
• Weekends: Required every other weekend
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty (Acute Care experience required)
• First-time travelers: Accepted
• Floating: Required to float between units within the hospital
• Locals: Not accepted
• License: Washington RN license required (pending license accepted if WA license is in process)
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per 2-week period

Required Experience & Skills

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Case Management experience, minimum 1 year, within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
• Acute Care experience
• Discharge Planning experience

Certifications Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Registered Nurse Licensure (WA)

Additional certifications may be required based on unit assignment and clinical track.

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• Education verification (nursing degree)
• Drug screening (9 panel within 12 months)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Immunizations and health documents including:

  • TB test or chest X-ray (annual update required)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (required during flu season)
  • COVID vaccination record preferred (declinations accepted)
• Respirator safety clearance (annual for travel)
• Fit mask testing (annual, travel only)

Additional Requirements

• References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
• Employment application covering at least last 5 years
• Skills checklist updated annually (if applicable)
• Float policy acknowledgment (required to float to other hospital campuses within reasonable distance)
• Completion of required Workramp modules (regulatory, specialty, and facility-specific training modules) prior to start and annually thereafter

Notes

• Candidate must be willing and able to float between units and campuses (less than 2 miles apart)
• This is a travel contract position; local candidates are not accepted
• All required documentation and certifications must be current and uploaded prior to start
• Modules and training requirements vary by specialty and facility and must be completed as assigned
