Schedule

• Monday through Friday, part-time
• Shift hours: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM (4 hours per day, 24 hours per week)
• No weekend or on-call requirements

• Radiology / Cardiology (Ultrasound Sonography with Obstetrics Gynecology and Fetal Echocardiography focus)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience in Fetal Echocardiography

Licensure & Certifications

• Must hold current and valid licensure/certification appropriate for Ultrasound Tech Maternal Fetal specialty
• Maintain BLS certification as required

Experience

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Complete and maintain all I9 documentation

• 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, including SSN trace, aliases, county, national, federal, sex offender, and OIG/SAM/FACIS checks
• Education verification of highest degree completed (minimum accredited program graduate)
• Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry fingerprinting and eligibility required (must be completed in Illinois; out-of-state fingerprints not accepted)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming good health and no physical limitations
• Fit mask test (3M Aura 1870+) within 12 months of start and annually thereafter
• Drug screening (10-panel) within 30 days of start; includes amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, marijuana, methadone, opiates, oxycodone, phencyclidine, propoxyphene
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Tdap vaccine within last 10 years (TD not accepted)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination with boosters if needed
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination with boosters if needed
  • Hepatitis B vaccine series completion or positive titer (declinations accepted)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31)
  • COVID-19 vaccination series or declination form
• OSHA Respiratory Safety clearance if fit test failed
• Annual competency exams and color blindness testing as applicable

Additional Requirements

• Must complete facility-specific training modules and sign confidentiality, privacy, and information security agreements prior to start
• Must complete sexual harassment training annually
• Must review and acknowledge facility policies and procedures
