Experience in Cardiac Telemetry
Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
Peripheral line care and management, including PICC lines
Ability to titrate drips
Experience working with PCU (Progressive Care Unit) nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5
Flexibility with scheduling and adherence to strict attendance policies

Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
Social Security Card
Background check within 60 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
Education verification (Associate’s degree in nursing or higher required)
Transcript/Diploma as proof of highest education
Health documents including:
- Physical exam (within 12 months)
- Fit mask test (annual, approved N95 respirators)
- Immunizations: Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Flu vaccine or approved exemption
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start
- TB testing and questionnaire
References: 2 supervisory references required from recent assignments
Employment application/resume with 7-year work history
Work history verification for last 5 years

Candidates must be aware of and agree to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs regardless of specialty
Floating policy must be reviewed and signed
Badge photo must meet strict facility requirements (no selfies, solid color background, business casual or uniform attire)
Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
Candidates will receive onboarding instructions including Workday login and multi-factor authentication setup prior to start

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, with at least 1 year within the last year
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS certification
CPR certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
EKG certification
Successful completion and acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) with minimum passing standards
Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
