Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 11.5 hours each; 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Job Description

• Role requires ability to scrub and circulate in the Operating Room (OR).
• Ideal candidate is experienced in both OR scrub and circulating duties.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with recent OR experience within the last year.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Requirements & Information

• Candidates must review and sign facility-specific documents including orientation guide, confidentiality agreement, dress and grooming standards, harassment-free workplace policy, IT acceptable use policy, and parking information.
• Candidates must complete a medication test/pharmacology competency exam with a passing score of 80% or higher. Facility will also administer their own pharmacology exam on the first day.
• Respirator clearance form or equivalent respiratory safety clearance is required and must be current.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

Summary

This is a travel contract RN position in the Operating Room requiring night shifts on weekends. The candidate must be skilled in both scrubbing and circulating in the OR, hold a valid RN license, and maintain required certifications and health clearances. Compliance with background checks, immunizations, and facility-specific documentation is mandatory.
