CT Tech

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Dayton, Ohio
• Part-time schedule: 2 days per week
• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Shifts are scheduled Monday through Thursday only
• Schedule is provided 4 weeks or more in advance
• Provides CT and X-ray coverage for 3 Free-Standing Emergency Department locations
• Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve are required scheduled workdays during the contract period
• May have on-call responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• ARRT (R)
• Associate degree in radiologic technology
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• CT registry

Clinical Responsibilities

• Independently performs computed tomography (CT) procedures using proper techniques and contrast media administration
• Works within scope of practice and licensure in medication administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture
• Coordinates patient flow and CT scanner activities
• May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs

Equipment

• CT tech uses GE equipment
• X-ray equipment is GE, Phillips, or Quantam
