Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Maryville, Tennessee
• Night shift: 18:45-07:15, 3x12
• Every other weekend coverage
• 13-week contract
• Adults & Geriatrics
• Staffing ratio on nights: 1:6

Unit / Assignment Details

• Inpatient unit for stroke and TIA patients
• Also receives higher-acuity med-surg patients
• Can do peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation
• Float is required to other units based on need and skill set

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Experience with Epic
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS

Additional Notes

• Medication system: Omnicell
• Patient diagnoses include Stroke/TIA, Seizure, Syncope, PNA, Chest Pain, Dialysis, Acute Kidney failure, Post Heart Cath, Respiratory Failure, Encephalopathy, CHF, and Sepsis
