Postpartum Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Seattle, Washington
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend days per contract
• Floating may be required to postpartum and labor & delivery recovery coverage at nearby campuses

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Post Partum (2 years of experience)
• Post Partum experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart Stroke Foundation
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Experience working with High Risk patients
• 2 years of experience in high-acuity postpartum care
• Magnesium administration experience
• Pitocin administration experience
• Postpartum hemorrhage management experience
• Substance withdrawal care experience
• Ability to manage 4 couplets (postpartum patients with newborns)
• Experience with Epic

Preferred

• JADA experience

Assignment Details

• Traveler choice of 13 or 26 weeks
• Traveler choice of 3x12s or 4x12s
• First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 2 years of relevant experience

Notes

• Perm candidates from other non-Swedish Providence facilities may be eligible after a 3-month separation
• Active compact license is honored for Swedish facilities
