Postpartum Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Seattle, Washington
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend requirement: 6 weekend days per contract
- Floating may be required to postpartum and labor & delivery recovery coverage at nearby campuses
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post Partum (2 years of experience)
- Post Partum experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart Stroke Foundation
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Experience working with High Risk patients
- 2 years of experience in high-acuity postpartum care
- Magnesium administration experience
- Pitocin administration experience
- Postpartum hemorrhage management experience
- Substance withdrawal care experience
- Ability to manage 4 couplets (postpartum patients with newborns)
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- JADA experience
Assignment Details
- Traveler choice of 13 or 26 weeks
- Traveler choice of 3x12s or 4x12s
- First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 2 years of relevant experience
Notes
- Perm candidates from other non-Swedish Providence facilities may be eligible after a 3-month separation
- Active compact license is honored for Swedish facilities
