Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Stockbridge, Georgia
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• 36 hours per week
• 20-week contract
• Adults to Geriatrics patient population
• 32-bed unit
• Ratio: 1:5–6
• Overflow IMCU with cardiac telemetry/step-down focus

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of experience managing continuous IV cardiac medications including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin, Bumex, Lasix, Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin, and insulin drips
• Arrhythmia management experience
• Cardioversion experience
• Telemetry experience

• Stable A-Fib, SVT, and bradycardia
• Surgical overflow including cholecystectomy, appy's, chest tubes, and biliary drains
• Occasional vascular patients
• Post cardiac cath
• TR Bands
• DKA
• Occasional Ortho or CVA overflow
• Basic arrhythmia knowledge

Schedule / Assignment Details

• Typically every other weekend
• Call is rare; 2-hour response time
• One major holiday expected if it falls during the assignment; two major holidays expected if two fall during the assignment; two of three major holidays expected if three fall during the assignment
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract
• Locals accepted
