Step Down Nurse
Overview
- Location: Columbus, Ohio
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts
- Weekly hours: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Start setting: Progressive care / step-down unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Stepdown (1 year of experience)
- Stepdown experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Telemetry experience
- Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips
- Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
Schedule / Work Expectations
- Float required within the hospital
- Every other weekend, Friday and Saturday nights

- Candidates with only 1 year of experience will not receive auto offers and will need manager review
- Parking is available through multiple permit options, with some options including shuttle service to the medical center at additional cost
