Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Crescent City, California
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
ED - Emergency Department (5 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements

7-year background check within 6 months of start
Sex offender search within 90 days of start
Education verification of highest level achieved, unless highest education is high school
State license verification within 30 days of start
NURSYS verification within 30 days of start
TB screening questionnaire within 90 days of start
Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 90 days of start, with annual renewal
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit test within 1 year of start, with annual renewal
Drug screen within 6 months of start
Tdap within 10 years of start
Flu vaccination documentation required during flu season
Review and sign required job and policy documents before start

Additional Notes

Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred
Unit-specific skills checklist required
