Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Columbus, Ohio
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- 36 hours per week
- Float pool assignment covering Labor & Delivery, Maternal Special Care, and Postpartum
- Call required
- Weekend coverage required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- AWHONN Intermediate
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post Partum experience
Preferred
- AWHONN Advanced
- EFM experience
Compliance and Onboarding
- Background review includes SS trace, counties lived/worked, nationwide search, sex offender search, and MVR if driving is part of the job
- Pending background check attestation is required if fingerprint results are not available before start
- Annual orientation safety manual acknowledgment
- Annual ethics and compliance policy acknowledgment
- Annual fraud, waste, and abuse training certificate
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Annual flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- Drug screen within 3 months of start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Tdap, varicella, MMR immunity, hepatitis B status, and measles/mumps/rubella documentation are required for non-remote candidates
- Fit testing is required for in-patient/patient-facing RNs
Notes
- Must be able to float between the listed women’s and infant care units
- EKG competency exam is required for all RNs unless the role is fully remote or otherwise exempt by unit; this role is not listed as remote
