Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Indianapolis, Indiana
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30–19:00
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• 24 rooms
• Average daily census: 70–80
• Scrub not required
• Charge pay is offered
• First-time travelers are accepted if they have Level 1 Trauma Experience

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• CVOR (1.5 years of experience)
• CVOR experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
• Experience working with Cardiac Transplant patients
• Experience working with Pulmonary Transplant patients
• Experience with heart/lung transplant procedures
• Experience with valve replacement procedures
• Experience with aortic dissection procedures
• Experience receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing them for cannulation
• OR Circulate experience
• CV call and holiday required
• 90–120 hours of call in a 6-week schedule

• NRP
• CHEMO
• TNCC
• EFM
• NIH Stroke Certification

Unit Details

• OR RNs need to be well rounded and current in most areas except CV & Transplant, as they will be floated where needed
• Special equipment: DaVinci XI Methodist
