Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
Med Surg / Telemetry experience
ED - Emergency Department experience
Experience with Epic

Key Clinical Skills

Blood product administration
Central, peripheral, and PICC line care
Start and maintain IVs
Dysrhythmia management
Telemetry on the unit/remote monitoring
Heparin protocols
Phlebotomy
Isolation precautions/PPE

Scheduling and Work Expectations

Every other weekend
Must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays, per unit needs
Candidates must float within their skillset without exception

Unit Details

Observation unit with CIWA/ETOH withdrawal, stroke, and ED holding patients
Ratios: 1:5-6
Scrubs: Navy blue

EPIC experience required
