Description

• The Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center is set to open in May 2025 and is New Jersey’s first and only freestanding cancer hospital. It combines the expertise of RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute.
• Clinicians will initially train and work in the main hospital before the cancer center opens.
• Work hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
• RNs will float between the Main Campus and the Morris Cancer Center, connected by a pedestrian bridge.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a stroke center; Level I or II experience required.
• Skills: Proficiency with specialty equipment (e.g., EKOS +, A-line, procedural wedge pressures).
• Preferred Experience: Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience is highly preferred.
• On Call: 2-3 days per week; RNs will assist with PICC lines but will not insert them; PAs will handle insertions.
• Patient Mix: Includes interventional radiology (IR) covering the Morris Cancer Center and some conscious sedation recovery.
