Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Facility: Salem Hospital, Mass General Brigham
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

• Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (32 hours/week, nights)
• Unit: CT
• Role: Perform diagnostic CT procedures with high proficiency under the direction of CT Manager and Clinical Lead.
• Responsibilities:

  • Ensure patient safety during procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Follow established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines

Experience & Skills

• Experience: 1 year of CT experience preferred but not required
• Skills Required:

  • Proficient CT scanning
  • IV and oral/GI contrast administration
  • Emergency response capability
  • EMR documentation (Epic, Visage)
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Professional and positive demeanor
• Equipment: GE CT scanner experience preferred but not required
• Shift Flexibility: Rotating shifts as required

Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
• Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually
• Health and immunization requirements including:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or proof of immunity
  • TB screening (skin test or blood test) within 3 months of start date
  • Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 365 days
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination strongly preferred
  • Tdap vaccine preferred

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

• Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start
• Criminal background checks including:

  • Massachusetts CORI
  • National sex offender registry
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid)
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation
• Documentation of work experience and education for the past 7 years
• Submission of references and skills checklist required for application

Additional Notes

• No religious exemptions for N95 fit testing or influenza vaccine
• TB positive individuals must provide chest x-ray documentation showing no active tuberculosis
• All documentation must be current and updated as required for continued employment
