Overview

• Float pool Med/Surg Tele RN role
• Must be willing to float to 8 different units
• Schedule: days/eves/nights, rotate, every other weekend
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit / Float Scope

• Float throughout the hospital to Med/Surg Tele areas
• Float scope includes: Davenport 5, Davenport 7, Davenport 8, Davenport 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, and Overflow
• Unit name: Float Pool RN
• Bed count: 371
• Units range from 8 to 41 beds

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• 2 years or more of total travel experience
• Float experience
• Experience with cardiac or critical care drips
• Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips
• TR Band experience

Preferred

• 2 years experience
• ACLS
