Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technologist
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Job Description
- Perform X-Ray technologist duties during overnight shifts.
- Work schedule is Monday through Thursday nights.
Required Qualifications
- Radiology Technician with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year.
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Health and Safety Requirements
- Documentation of immunizations and health screenings including:
- Two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted).
- Two Varicella vaccines, serological evidence of immunity, or documented history (no declinations accepted).
- Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination.
- Tdap vaccination valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted).
- Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite).
- 2-step PPD or IGRA testing for tuberculosis with annual TB questionnaire.
- Health statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
- 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually.
- Influenza vaccine is optional; if declined during flu season, mask wearing is required.
Onboarding and Documentation
- Submission of a professional resume/profile.
- Forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations).
- Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment documents.
- Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics with minimum passing score.
- Medical imaging contract worker onboarding education attestation.
- Annual updates required for certain credentials and screenings.
- Must comply with all facility-specific onboarding requirements and documentation.
