Job Details
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (Surgery)
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
- Shift: 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM
- Call Schedule: Every other day and every other weekend; Friday 3:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM; holidays as assigned
- Work Areas: PACU, GI, Pre/Post-Op, ENT, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Additional: May float onsite or to other nearby sites within 40 miles based on skill set
- Experience: EPIC system experience preferred; prior travel experience is required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 1 year perioperative nursing experience, with perioperative experience within the last year
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification
- Experience in PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
- Experience in Gastroenterology (GI)
- Experience in Pre/Post-Operative care
- Experience in ENT Surgery
- Experience in General Surgery
- Experience in Orthopedic Surgery
- Experience in Podiatry
- Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Prior travel nursing experience
