Job Requirements

• Specialty: Labor and Delivery
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • PALS
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • ACLS (for RNs in CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU)
  • AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring
• Licensure: Valid nursing license with verification dated within 30 days of start
• Fit Test required

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

Candidates must provide the following documentation and meet these conditions prior to or at onboarding:

Certifications & Licenses

• BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certificates with expiration dates
• License verification dated within 30 days of start
• Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year

Health & Immunizations

• Fit Test
• COVID-19 Vaccine (including booster by Sept 2025) or approved exemption/declination (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
• Influenza Vaccine or approved exemption/declination (declination not accepted in CA or IL) for current flu season
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab report
• Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start (titers not accepted)
• Varicella: Proof of vaccination or IgG titer lab report
• Tdap: Current vaccine or declination if no pediatric interaction
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB as per regional requirements
• Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work within the last year
• 10 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days of start (NO THC)

Professional & Background Checks

• Signed Trinity Code of Conduct Form
• Trinity I9 form completed by agency
• Confidentiality and Information System Security Agreement signed
• Integrity and Audit Services Form signed shortly before start
• Non-Employee Upload Form fully completed and uploaded
• Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form signed
• Criminal Background Check (Federal, Nationwide, County for last 7 years) dated within 30 days of start
• Education Verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED)
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) report dated within 30 days
• GSA/OIG exclusion check dated within 30 days
• Joint Commission CORE Exam within the last year
• NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days, including aliases and locations
• System Access Form completed and uploaded one week before start
• Skills Checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
• Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only)
• Iowa Sing Report (Criminal History, Sex Offender, Dependent Adult & Child Abuse Registries) dated within 30 days prior to start
• OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions check completed within 30 days
