Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Job Description
- Work every other weekend and every other holiday.
- Must be willing to float to an alternate campus location.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience, with recent experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Neurology nursing experience
